Arsenal are looking to improve both on and off the pitch as the owners look to secure future success for the club.
Arsenal are set to appoint Andrea Berta as their new sporting director ahead of what will be a busy summer at club in the transfer window with Mikel Arteta looking to finally build a Premier League title-winning side.
The Gunners will be looking to strengthen in attacking areas and names such as Alexander Isak and Nico Williams are the top of their list with Arsenal set to be very active in their recruitment.
Stan Kroenke is also set to make improvements to the club’s infrastructure too and the owner is exploring plans to improve upon the current Emirates Stadium by taking inspiration from their upcoming Champions League opponents.

Arsenal in ‘exploratory’ talks to expand and improve the Emirates Stadium
As per the Standard, Arsenal are currently holding ‘exploratory talks’ about potentially expanded or revamping the Emirates stadium in North London.
Renovations have taken place both inside and outside the stadium in recent years and of course various statues of Arsenal legends have been installed throughout the years.
Now the Kroenke family are discussing the feasibility of further work taking place and have even looked at Real Madrid’s Bernabeu stadium for ideas and inspiration.
Various Arsenal staff members were in Madrid earlier this season at an event and it gave them the opportunity to gather ideas and thoughts about how the Spanish side have gone about making their improvements.
Increased Emirates Stadium capacity would help Arsenal with PSR rules
According to finance expert Chris Weatherspoon for the Athletic, Arsenal are now regular loss-makers in their financial years and an increase in revenue from the stadium may help to plug those gaps.
The last financial results were Arsenal’s sixth year in a row where they have recorded losses and of course that has an impact on how much Arteta is able to spend on improving his Arsenal squad.

However, Stan Kroenke’s latest Arsenal masterplan could see an additional £200m in revenue from the stadium expansion or revamp and that will ease any PSR concerns for the Gunners.
Fans have often complained of the struggle to purchase tickets to see their beloved club play at home, this new plan could ease that worry for Gunners supporters.
