Journalist Julien Laurens is puzzled about why one Arsenal player is underrated after watching him against Liverpool.
The Gunners played out a 2-2 draw against Arne Slot’s side at the Emirates, with Liverpool responding to both of Arsenal’s goals.
Mikel Arteta will be frustrated that his players were unable to maintain two leads at home however, will equally be relieved to have got through the game with several notable defensive absences.
It was a dramatic 90 minutes between two tactically strong sides, with one Arsenal star earning rave reviews for his first-half performance.

Arsenal told Bukayo Saka is underrated in England
The opening 45 minutes undoubtedly belonged to Bukayo Saka, who on his return to action, netted his 50th Premier League goal in style.
Andy Robertson will not want to face the Englishman again in his career, as the Arsenal star had the left-back scrambling multiple times.
Saka made everyone inside the Emirates and beyond realise his importance in the squad, prompting journalist Julien Laurens to express his opinion on the 23-year-old.
“I find him really underrated in England and I don’t understand why,” Laurens said on The Optus Sport Football Podcast.
“Maybe it’s a case of ‘I don’t like him because he doesn’t play for my club’ if you’re a Chelsea or Liverpool fan. I think he’s an incredible player and I don’t feel like he’s valued like he should be in this country.”
The French reporter shared that he’s puzzled as to why Saka isn’t raved about more in England, drawing attention to club culture and the subtle sense of jealousy that comes from a player performing for a rival side.
Saka is going from strength to strength at Arsenal, becoming the poster boy for Arteta’s project for all that he does for his boyhood club.
Saka’s stats against Liverpool
Already this season, Saka has 10 goal contributions in the Premier League, scoring three and assisting seven from only eight appearances.
It’s been a sensationally strong start to the campaign for the winger, who showed his strength on his return from injury against Liverpool.

The England international completed two of his three attempted dribbles against the Reds, as well as being fouled twice, via Sofascore, contributing to Robertson being hooked after only 63 minutes.
Saka also put in a shift defensively, winning seven duels, leading by example on an afternoon that saw him captain his boyhood club.
