Keep up with all the latest Arsenal transfer news and rumours for the day, with updates on Benjamin Sesko, Martin Zubimendi and Oleksandr Zinchenko.
The first transfer window of the summer closes today as clubs are forced to stop registering players for another six days due to a deadline relating to the Club World Cup.
That won’t impact Arsenal too much, as plans step up for the rest of the window with the players the Gunners do want to sign.
Plenty of forwards continue to be linked as some exits could also be on the cards for the squad this coming month.
So, with that said, here’s a look at the latest Arsenal transfer news and rumours for the day.
Arsenal hold fresh Benjamin Sesko transfer talks
Arsenal have held fresh talks this week with RB Leipzig over a move for Benjamin Sesko, claims the Standard.
It’s stated that £70 million could be enough to secure the striker, with the Bundesliga outfit holding out for that much.

It’s unclear whether Arsenal are willing to meet that transfer price tag or not, though other options are available if they cannot agree on a move.
Ollie Watkins and Viktor Gyokeres are believed to still be of interest to the Gunners as potential signings up front.
Fabrizio Romano gives Martin Zubimendi update
Arsenal fans have been fearful of a situation surrounding Martin Zubimendi, as Real Madrid are claimed to be making a late hijack in the deal.
That is despite the belief that the Gunners have agreed on everything, with just a medical left to take place.
Giving an update on the situation, Fabrizio Romano clarified on YouTube just what is happening with the midfielder.
“Zubimendi already spoke to Mikel Arteta, he wanted to respect Real Sociedad until the very end, so he didn’t want to sign any contract before the end of the season.
“But the deal is agreed, they already exchanged everything in terms of documents to say ‘ok, we’re ready to sign’.
“Now it’s about the formal steps, the medical, pen to paper, take the pictures and then Zubimendi will be an Arsenal player.”
Oleksandr Zinchenko offered to AC Milan
Arsenal defender Oleksandr Zinchenko is facing a possible exit this summer as he looks for more consistent game time.
According to journalist Gianluigi Longari, AC Milan have been offered the Ukrainian international for a possible deal.
It comes as Theo Hernandez could leave to join the Saudi Pro League, opening up the search for a left-back.
