While Arsenal are busy plotting their route through the festive fixture list, the FA Cup is just around the corner to bring them yet more to focus on.
The Gunners are battling on all fronts this season, with Mikel Arteta hoping to progress deep into the Champions League and domestic cups, while the Premier League title push is still on.
While, at times, Arsenal have dropped out of form, they look back at their best in recent matches and will be looking to take that into all competitions.
The FA Cup has a special place at London Colney, having been the trophy the club have won the most in their history.
With yet another edition of the competition now set to get underway for Arsenal, here’s a look at how it gets kickstarted for them in the third round.

Arsenal draw Man United in the FA Cup third round
The FA Cup third round draw took place on Monday, December 2, with 64 teams looking to book their place deep in the competition.
Arsenal were knocked out in the third round last season, losing 2-0 to Liverpool after a difficult draw was handed their way.
This time around, they’ve been put up against Manchester United in a huge clash between the two old, bitter rivals.
United won the competition last season, making them the current holders, beating Manchester City in the final in May.
The matches will commence on the weekend of Saturday, January 11, with the TV schedule set to confirm the exact date and kick-off time for the match.
Arteta will be keen for Arsenal to make their way through into the fourth round and beyond, with silverware the demand for him this season.

Arsenal’s FA Cup record and more
Arsenal’s trophy cabinet includes a record-breaking number of FA Cups, currently standing at 14 over their esteemed history.
The first one came in the 1929/1930 season, while Arsene Wenger won a whopping seven of them in his stint at the club.
The most recent triumph came in the 2019/2020 season, where Arteta managed to defeat Frank Lampard and his Chelsea side at Wembley Stadium.
To date, it is the only silverware the Arsenal boss has won outside of the Community Shield, giving him lift-off in his career.
A second FA Cup trophy to his name would certainly do no harm, especially with supporters craving something to show for the progress that has been made on the pitch.
