Arsenal's Ramsdale gets huge FIFA 23 upgrade after stomping on 2022 card

The FIFA 23 Ultimate Team player ratings are out now, and we’re sure Arsenal star Aaron Ramsdale will be much happier with his card this year than he was last time.

The Englishman has been absolutely unbelievable for us since his move from Sheffield United in 2021. He is one of our best players and is arguably among the top three goalkeepers in the Premier League at the moment.

He has finally got the respect he deserves from EA Sports.

Aaron Ramsdale stomped on his FIFA 22 card

Usually, when a player gets a big move from a relegated club to one of the top sides in the country, he gets a considerable upgrade on his FIFA Ultimate Team card.

Ramsdale, sadly, went from 75 to 74 and was a silver last year. Unsurprisingly, he wasn’t happy about it.

In a video on Sky Sports’ YouTube channel, Ramsdale and Chelsea star Mason Mount reacted to their FIFA cards over the years. The Arsenal man was fairly happy with all of the ratings from the seasons before, but he was furious with the 74 on his FIFA 22 card.

The Englishman put the card down, stomped on it, tore it in half and left it there. “That’s what I think of it,” he said before pushing it to the side with his leg.

Arsenal number one gets huge upgrade on FIFA 23

Ramsdale will be significantly happy this time around.

The Arsenal number one has gone from 74 to 82, and five of his six stats have shot up as well – his speed, sadly, remains the same at 48.

Ramsdale’s diving and reflexes have increased by eight to 83 and 84 respectively, his handling has gone from 72 to 77 and his positioning sees him given a +7 upgrade to 78.

The biggest boost on his card is his kicking. It was an embarrassing 69 last year but it’s 85 on FIFA 22, which is absolutely fantastic. We’d love to see his reaction to the card this time.
