Thierry Henry and Arsene Wenger were present at the Champions League final to watch Paris Saint-Germain beat Inter Milan.
Arsenal beat PSG 2-0 earlier in the competition, but when the duel between the two clubs really mattered, Mikel Arteta’s side were outclassed.
As the Gunners crashed out of the Champions League in the semi-final, the squad were forced to watch the team that beat them go on to win the trophy.
PSG thrashed Inter Milan 5-0 to win the Champions League for the first time in the club’s history, as remarkable scenes adorned the Allianz Arena.

Arsenal mentioned during the Champions League final by Thierry Henry
Though the night belonged to PSG and Luis Enrique, who won his second Champions League title, two Arsenal icons found a way to include the Gunners in the post-match reaction.
Henry was on duty covering the game for CBS Sports, and during the celebrations, Wenger found a way into his former striker’s path.
Arsenal’s record goalscorer started to interview the boss before fellow pundit Micah Richards got involved, as the Englishman made one request live on air to Wenger.
“Can I just shake your hand, please?” Richards asked, and Wenger didn’t hesitate to fulfil the pundit’s request.
“Legend,” Richards said in awe as the legendary former Arsenal manager shook his hand, paving the way for Henry to inform Wenger of why his co-worker was so infatuated in the moment.
“He’s an Arsenal fan, that’s why,” Henry said, triggering a laugh from Wenger, who walked away from the interaction with a smile on his face.
Richards’ love for Arsenal has been mentioned before, however, the pundit aims to maintain an open relationship with regard to his former club, Manchester City.

Henry and Arsene Wenger celebrate PSG victory
While it was as heartwarming as ever to see Henry and Wenger share some words, it might have left a sour taste in the mouths of Arsenal fans.
As PSG triumphed, a sense of what if was traceable, as the two Arsenal legends could’ve shared the moment with their former club, had the Gunners been able to conquer the Parisians.
Still, the pair were happy in the moment as two proud Frenchmen, something that the ex-Arsenal duo spoke about post-match.
“Boss, are you happy? For French football,” Henry asked Wenger, still addressing him as he did in N5.
“I’m happy, of course, for French football. You watch a lot of French football, and you see the result tonight,” Wenger replied.
PSG got their hands on the trophy, and deservedly so, as a 5-0 win in the final bears no room for questioning over the worthy victors.
