Gabriel Magalhaes will have to buy breakfast for everyone at Arsenal tomorrow as a punishment for losing Mikel Arteta’s training drill at London Colney today.

The Gunners are busy at work ahead of our game against Bournemouth on Saturday. After back-to-back wins in the Premier League, we need to keep the momentum going, and another victory this weekend will be fantastic.

Arteta is putting the lads through their paces at London Colney, and the keepy-uppy challenge was reintroduced today. Everybody appeared to enjoy it – except Gabriel.

The Arsenal boss made every single player grab a ball and stand in a line. It was a simple keepy-uppy challenge and the players had to keep the ball from touching the ground as they made their way from the start to the finish line.

“The last one to do it, tomorrow, he needs to bring breakfast,” Arteta is seen saying in a video released on Arsenal’s official website.

Oleksandr Zinchenko was quickly off the mark and he sped through, leaving everyone else behind. The rest followed, and the last three players in the race were Matt Turner, Gabriel and Marquinhos.

After struggling for a while, Turner slowly got over the line, but the two Brazilians couldn’t. Arteta made the pair take part in a standing keepy-uppy challenge in the end, and Marquinhos quickly picked up the win.

A frustrated Gabriel is seen complaining to Arteta. When the Arsenal boss refuses to listen to him, he kicks the ball away in frustration.

The Insider’s View:

The atmosphere among the lads in training and in games is really good. The spirits are high, everyone seems positive and that has been reflected in our performances since the start of the season.

Arteta deserves immense credit for the change in culture at the club.

We don’t remember the last time everyone was this united, and if this continues, there’s every chance we’ll become one of the best sides in the country very soon.

Gabriel wasn’t happy with losing the drill, but he’s definitely a happy lad on the pitch, which is the most important thing.
