Arsenal face off with Everton this weekend looking to maintain their lead at the top of the Premier League and Ashley Cole believes it’s the Gunners’ title to lose.
Cole won the league title with both Arsenal and Chelsea in his career and knows how to get over the line.
Indeed, discussing Arsenal’s current position, Cole has admitted that right now, it’s all in the Gunners’ hands.

Ashley Cole backs Arsenal to win the Premier League
Arsenal are the talk of the Premier League right now. Some of it for the wrong reasons like our style of play, but some of it purely because we’re they best team.
Now, according to Arsenal Invincible Ashley Cole, the title is there for the taking despite the uncertainty of football as a sport.
“They look strong, they look solid. They look like mentality monsters, like they’re not giving anything up and yeah, after 20 years, it should be like that,” Cole said for Sky Sports.
“Look who knows. Football is a crazy sport and anything can happen but Arsenal have put themselves in a strong position at this point in the season. I don’t see anything different. People talk about the set-pieces but that’s probably the extra 5% that gets you wins.
“That’s the 5% that can win you the Premier League. I think they’re going down the right road and it’s probably their’s to lose.”
With just eight games to play and sitting seven points clear, this would be the most catastrophic of collapses now for Arsenal.
Nevertheless, we do have to face Man City and should City win that game and the game in hand, then suddenly it’s down to a single point.
Rest assured, there’s no way Arsenal can take the foot off the gas. The Gunners need to win every game or City will smell blood and it will very much be game on.
