Arsenal are targeting a move for Everton forward Iliman Ndiaye, and Bacary Sagna has already told his former club why he could be perfect.
Andrea Berta wants to sign a new attacker in 2026, and the Gunners are looking at one of the Premier League’s most underrated forwards.
Fill in the blank: If Arsenal were to sign Iliman Ndiaye, I would feel ______________
Ndiaye has enjoyed a very solid campaign at Everton so far, producing four goals and two assists in 19 Premier League matches.
Now, the North London club have added him to their list of targets and could make their move next summer in their hunt for a new left winger.
Arsenal are targeting Everton’s Iliman Ndiaye
Iliman Ndiaye has emerged as a transfer target for Arsenal next summer, according to CaughtOffside.
Several other Premier League teams are also keen on the winger, with Manchester United, Tottenham and Chelsea all monitoring him.
Ndiaye can play in several different roles, including left wing, right wing and the number ten role.
He could prove to be a great option for Mikel Arteta’s squad, replacing Leandro Trossard or Gabriel Martinelli and covering Bukayo Saka and Noni Madueke.
Which left winger would you most like to see Andrea Berta prioritise in 2026?
The Toffees are set to demand around £65 million to sell the player, given he still has three years remaining on his contract.
Ndiaye proved to be a big miss during the African Cup of Nations as Everton won just two of the six matches the 24-year-old missed.
Since his return to the team, David Moyes’ side have looked much improved and managed to beat Fulham away over the weekend.
Bacary Sagna thinks Iliman Ndiaye is ‘magic’
Former Arsenal defender Bacary Sagna is a big fan of Ndiaye, who has recently called ‘magic’.
The ex-Premier League player thinks Ndiaye can help Senegal have a very successful World Cup campaign in 2026.
He told OneFootball: “They have quality players, with Sadio Mané at the top and many others who can create a little bit of magic, like Iliman Ndiaye, who is used to playing big games – he played at Marseille, he plays at Everton.”
