Bernardo Silva helped Manchester City to another trophy by winning the FA Cup at Wembley and it seems he’s not given up hope of adding the Premier League title either.
Silva and City know that Arsenal are firmly in the driving seat with just a few Premier League games to go.
However, in a season of twists and turns at both ends of the table, Pep Guardiola’s men will know that anything is possible if they can win both their remaining games.
As for Silva, he is bowing out of City with at least two trophies but he’s admitted that he’ll do all he can to make it three.
Arsenal posted this immediately after Manchester City won the FA Cup. Coincidence or mind games?
Bernardo Silva comments on Arsenal and the title race as Man City win the FA Cup
With Silva having been part of six title winning teams already, he can walk away from Manchester with his head firmly held high.
However, a seventh is still not completely out of the realms of possibility and speaking after City won the FA Cup today, Silva admitted his teammates simply have to just focus on their job.
“It would mean a lot. It’s not in our hands. So our job is to, Wednesday, do our job and put a bit of pressure on them to make them win the game to be champions. But we’re in a tough position,” Silva conceded.
As we know, Arsenal take on Burnley tomorrow in a game everyone expects them to win.

Indeed, many see it as a chance for the Gunners to get some goals and make the goal difference column look that little bit healthier.
For once, it does seem like Arsenal have the upper-hand in more ways than one this season.
A win tomorrow adds pressure on City to win in midweek. If Arsenal do that, and City don’t triumph, then it’s all said and done before we even get to next weekend.
