Arsenal star Bukayo Saka has not been at his best this season.
The England international has had a couple of injuries that have troubled him, which have hurt his rhythm. That has led to a few disappointing performances.
Saka has now admitted that he hasn’t been at his best, but he wants Arsenal fans to know that his form will have no effect on his effort levels.

Bukayo Saka tells Arsenal fans he will give everything despite his form
Bukayo Saka has been one of Arsenal’s best players since he broke into the team as a teenager.
The Hale End graduate is an outstanding winger, and he has always been consistent with his output in the final third.
Saka is still doing a lot of things right in attack, but his numbers – nine goals and seven assists in 41 games – aren’t quite where they should be for a player of his level.
The Arsenal number seven admitted that amid all the concerns about his form, he wants the fans to know that he will still put in 100 per cent effort every time he steps onto the pitch.

He told Paul Merson on Sky Sports: “This season, I would obviously have liked to have been a bit more consistent, at my highest level. But yeah, it can happen sometimes.
“I’m just happy that, as a team, we’re doing well together and we’re fighting on all fronts. That’s what it’s about.
“I just want people to know that every time I’m on the pitch, I’m going to leave everything out there, to do everything I can to help my team win, and that’s something people will never be able to take away from me.”

Answer honestly: Is Bukayo Saka really the best winger in the world right now?
Bukayo Saka’s stats could look completely different by the end of this season
Saka is clearly not happy with his numbers this season and rightly so. He is capable of so much more.
However, 16 direct goal contributions is not awful by any means. In fact, there is a chance that it will look completely different by the time the season ends.
Arsenal still have seven games left in the Premier League and one in the Carabao Cup. If they go all the way in the FA Cup and Champions League, that’s eight more games.
So, Saka could make 15 more appearances this season, and a goal or an assist in every game would take his tally up to 31 for the campaign.
That would make this an incredible individual season.
