Bukayo Saka recently got the better of Arsenal club captain Martin Odegaard.
Bukayo Saka and Martin Odegaard have been playing a childhood classic game behind the scenes at Arsenal.
In recent footage shared by the official Arsenal Instagram account, Saka and Odegaard went head-to-head in a game of Connect Four.
The 23-year-old winger was able to beat the Norwegian playmaker after a tense match. At one stage, Odegaard was even caught cheating, in a desperate attempt to claim victory.
After winning the game, Saka declared: “Anyone at this club… play me… it’s over!”

Nacho Monreal responds to Bukayo Saka challenge
With the gauntlet thrown down by Saka, former Arsenal left-back Nacho Monreal responded to the challenge.
The Spaniard commented on the video, saying: “No chance you beat me at this game.” Whether or not we will ever get to see Saka and Monreal face-off over a game of Connect Four is still a mystery at this stage.
Arsenal fans would certainly be glad to see Monreal return to North London, as he was a popular figure at the Emirates Stadium.
Signed from Malaga in the January of 2013, Monreal remained on the books at Arsenal until the summer of 2019.
In total, he made 251 appearances for the Gunners, across all competitions, and was a teammate of Mikel Arteta’s. He won three FA Cups in his time at the club.
Arsenal bonding behind the scenes
This game between Saka and Odegaard is an example of the kind of activities that the club encourage and organise to help players bond and wind down in one another’s company.
Arteta has encouraged his Arsenal squad to bond via various methods, including repeatedly changing seating arrangements at meal times to force players to interact with everyone in the group.
A harmonious and unified squad off the pitch stands a better chance of being successful on it.
