Bukayo Saka is arguably Arsenal’s best player.
The England international has been incredible for the Gunners since the start of this campaign. He has scored three goals and provided seven assists in 10 appearances, and has performed brilliantly in almost every single game.
The one against Southampton in Arsenal’s 3-1 win was probably Saka’s best performance of the season. The Englishman scored a goal and provided two assists in what was a truly stunning display.
Gabby Agbonlahor was blown away by Saka after watching him against the Saints, and he has now raved about the Arsenal number seven.
Bukayo Saka gets a new nickname that belonged to Arsenal legend Tony Adams
Tony Adams is one of the biggest Arsenal legends of all time.
The Englishman captained the club for 14 years, won 10 major trophies and even achieved the incredible feat of winning league titles in three different decades.
Adams has been hailed as Arsenal’s greatest-ever captain as well (FourFourTwo), and nobody even comes close to taking that title away from him.
For his contribution to the club for over a decade, Adams is widely regarded as Mr Arsenal.
Now, Agbonlahor has given the same name to Saka after heaping praise on him for his performance against Southampton on Saturday.
He said on talkSPORT: “This guy is Mr Reliable. He is a seven, eight, nine, 10 out 10 every week. He doesn’t drop below a seven out of 10. And on the weekend when Arsenal needed him, he was there.
“Great assist for Martinelli. Yes, a simple assist for Havertz, but great ball into the back-post. That’s his trademark ball into Martinelli to finish. Also took his goal. Yes, poor defending, but got his goal as well.
“But his all-round performance, he was terrorising Southampton and he really is Mr Arsenal and definitely deserves to be in the Team of the Week.”

What Bukayo Saka needs to do to become a legend like Tony Adams
Saka and Adams do share a few similarities.
Both of them are English and made their senior professional debuts for Arsenal. They are Gooners through and through and love the club.
Adams spent his entire career at Arsenal and played over 660 games for the club. Saka, so far, has played 236 for the first team – if he stays at the Emirates his whole career, he will surpass Adams’ record.
Saka also needs to win big trophies. Adams won four league titles, three FA Cups, two League Cups, two Community Shields and a European Cup during his time as a Gunner.
The current Arsenal number seven still has a long way to go on that front, but we are convinced he can do it if he stays at the club.
