Arsenal are arguably the most criticised club in the Premier League.
Everything the Gunners do gets analysed differently compared to other teams, and every dropped point or defeat quickly becomes a huge talking point.
Over the last few years, Arsenal have also been mocked relentlessly by rival supporters whenever things have gone wrong. However, after finally winning the Premier League title, a lot of those voices have suddenly gone quiet.
Bukayo Saka certainly has not forgotten what was said along the way, though.
If you could make one pundit stop talking about Arsenal, who would you choose and why?
Gary Neville, Jamie Carragher or someone else?
Bukayo Saka says Arsenal players are ready to ‘give it back’ now
Arsenal’s title win has clearly felt incredibly emotional for the players because of everything they have had to deal with during the season.
Not only did Mikel Arteta’s side battle injuries and pressure from Manchester City, but they also had to constantly hear criticism and ridicule from outside the club.
Whether it was jokes about bottling the title or criticism of Arsenal’s mentality, there was always something being said.
Saka has now admitted the players were fully aware of all of it.
Speaking after Arsenal became champions, the winger said on TNT Sports: “We know what everyone says about us and what we have to deal with in the club, the doubts we have, can we really do it?

“We’ve done it now, time to enjoy it.”
Saka then made it very clear that Arsenal’s players have not forgotten the people who mocked them.
He added: “People are starting to go into hiding mode, but we’re going to find them.
“It’s a bit of banter, people are going to give it to us, and we’ll give it back. We’ve earned the right to. It’s time to enjoy it.”
Honestly, Arsenal supporters will absolutely love hearing that.

Arsenal now need the Champions League to silence everybody properly
Winning the Premier League has already shut a lot of people up.
However, there will still be critics desperately waiting for an opportunity to discredit Arsenal again.
That is why the Champions League final against PSG now feels absolutely massive.
If Arteta’s side manage to complete the double and become champions of Europe as well, the noise around this team will completely change forever.
At that point, nobody will be able to question Arsenal’s mentality, quality or ability to deliver in the biggest moments anymore.
And honestly, if Arsenal do beat PSG in Budapest, the celebrations and responses to the haters will probably be unbearable for rival fans.
