Bukayo Saka is Arsenal’s best player.

The England international has carried the Gunners on his back for several years now, and he is one of the biggest reasons why they are challenging for major trophies.

Saka is a product of the Arsenal Academy, which is one of the best in Europe. Hale End has produced several incredible talents over the years.

This year, the two young players who have broken through are Myles Lewis-Skelly and Ethan Nwaneri.

Saka has delivered his verdict on them.

Bukayo Saka says Arsenal star Myles Lewis-Skelly has ‘scary’ potential

Lewis-Skelly is a superstar in the making.

The 18-year-old wasn’t expected to play too many games for the senior side this season, but he has taken his opportunity and become a regular.

Lewis-Skelly is ahead of experienced pros like Riccardo Calafiori and Oleksandr Zinchenko at left-back, and neither player will win their place back anytime soon.

Bukayo Saka has already been on the path that Lewis-Skelly is currently on, and the Arsenal number seven has been really impressed with his young compatriot.

In an interview on Sky Sports, Saka heaped praise on the teenager and claimed that it’s ‘scary’ how far he can go in his career.

He said: “Myles is another one, man. Sometimes I look at him, he’s 18 years old, he’s playing these types of games like he has been playing for years.

“Especially the two legs against Real Madrid, how solid he was, how confident he was getting the ball in the midfield, driving through…

“I’m so proud of him and to see the steps he is making. It’s scary how far he can go.”

What Bukayo Saka said about Ethan Nwaneri

Ethan Nwaneri is another player who has had his breakthrough season at Arsenal.

The teenager, who is a few months younger than Lewis-Skelly, has performed brilliantly every time he has played, and he even stepped in for Saka when he was injured.

Nwaneri impressed everyone with his performances, including Saka himself.

When asked if he feels like a big brother to Nwaneri and Lewis-Skelly, Saka said: “Yeah, a bit. Sometimes it makes me feel old with these guys. They are both doing exceptionally well.

“Ethan is another one, great talent. Every opportunity he has had this season, he has shown his quality, his talent, he has scored quite a few goals as well.

“Really impressive season from him, from Myles, they have really given us a boost this season.”
