Arsenal star Bukayo Saka has had a fine start to the new season.
The Englishman has been unbelievable for the Gunners on the right flank. He has scored three and assisted seven goals in 10 games, which is a stunning return.
Saka’s fine form has helped Arsenal stay just a point away from the top of the Premier League table. It is looking like they will be in another title race in the coming months.
The last two seasons have been brilliant for Arsenal, but they just haven’t been able to get over the line. Saka seems confident that things will be different this time around.
What Bukayo Saka privately told his Arsenal teammates recently
Saka has emerged as one of Arsenal’s leaders this season.
You can notice a change in mentality in the 23-year-old every time he steps onto the pitch. He isn’t just performing brilliantly on his own but is making everyone else better too.
To add to that, Saka has worn the captain’s armband on a few occasions this season, and he hasn’t looked out of place at all despite being just 23 years old.
That is fantastic to see if you’re an Arsenal fan, and what’s even better is the confidence Saka has about what’s going to happen this season.
After the win over Southampton in which Saka produced a man-of-the-match display, the Englishman hosted a birthday party for his teammates, family and friends.
Saka thanked all of his teammates for attending the event, but what caught our eye was the confident 11-word message he sent.
“This year, I really believe we’re going to win the league,” he said, reports the Daily Mail.
In his speech, Saka also said: “I am going to start with my team, I spend every day with you guys, sometimes too much time but honestly, I love you all.
“I love all of you guys and I appreciate you coming.”

Saka’s confidence should worry Manchester City
Arsenal have come up short in the Premier League title race against Manchester City in each of the last two seasons.
That was heartbreaking for all of us, and we’re sure the players felt the same way.
Saka’s message to his teammates is a really strong and confident one, but this isn’t the first time the Arsenal number seven has been vocal about the title race this season.
Following the Champions League win against Paris Saint-Germain recently, Saka boldly told Thierry Henry that this is Arsenal’s year and they will win the Premier League title.
That is serious confidence, and this should be a warning to Manchester City that Arsenal are not messing about this season.
