Arsenal have been receiving praise from all directions after their brilliant start to the new season.
Just a few weeks ago, when they lost to Liverpool and drew against Manchester City, a lot of criticism was aimed at Mikel Arteta for the way he set his side out to play.
Since then, Arsenal have won every single game in all competitions, and according to Opta, they are now the favourites to win the Premier League and the Champions League.
That shows just how good they are, but they do have one weakness.

Danny Murphy says Arsenal have a weakness in Declan Rice’s position
Declan Rice is one of Arsenal’s most important players.
The England international has been phenomenal for the Gunners since his record move to the Emirates Stadium in the summer of 2023.
Rice has barely put a foot wrong in the famous red and white, and he is one of the first names on Mikel Arteta’s team sheet every week.
That makes him a huge asset for Arsenal, but former Liverpool star Danny Murphy has noticed a major weakness in that position.
The pundit feels that if Rice is unavailable for some reason, the Gunners could struggle because they have nobody else like him to take his place.
When asked by Jim White where Arsenal’s weakness lies, Murphy replied on talkSPORT: “There’s not many.
“I still think Rice is a huge player for them. If you take him out, they’ve not got anybody like him.”
Surprise Arsenal player could play in Declan Rice’s position
Murphy is right – Arsenal don’t have anyone who can do as good a job as Rice in midfield.
The Englishman is incredible in attack as well as defence, and his set-pieces also make a massive difference in almost every game.
However, if Rice is ever unavailable, we think Myles Lewis-Skelly could do a good job in midfield.
The teenager showed his class with a brilliant run and assist through the middle against Atletico Madrid in the Champions League.
Lewis-Skelly grew up and was educated as a midfielder, and we think he has what it takes to perform brilliantly in the middle of the park if required.
