This generation of Arsenal players may go down as legends.

Indeed, Arsenal are chasing an unprecedented quadruple this season, and even if they fall short, this is a campaign that will live long in the memory.

There are tons of current Arsenal players on their way to becoming Gunners greats, but according to David Seaman, one player stands out above the rest.

Indeed, the Arsenal legend says Bukayo Saka is his favourite player at Arsenal right now after being asked a series of quickfire questions by the club’s media team.

David Seaman names Bukayo Saka as his favourite Arsenal player

Seaman had some special praise for Saka, naming him as the Arsenal player he likes the most at the moment.

The former goalkeeper could’ve chosen the likes of Declan Rice, Kai Havertz, or even his fellow member of the goalkeeper’s union – David Raya, but, instead, he opted to pick Saka.

“Your favourite current Arsenal player?” Seaman was asked.

“My favourite current Arsenal player? I’ll say Saka,” Seaman said.

Bukayo Saka is also Thierry Henry’s favourite player

David Seaman isn’t the only Arsenal legend to name Bukayo Saka as his favourite player.

Indeed, Thierry Henry has also said similar about Saka in the past.

“At the time I was in the academy, people were talking a lot about Chris Willock, the brother of Joe, Reiss Nelson, Donyell Malen,” Henry said.

“Bukayo was just ‘okay, he’s good’, but he wasn’t the talk of the academy. That’s why I have mad respect for Bukayo, a soft spot for him. He’s my favourite player.

“He has been there for a long time, he is so nice. I never thought he was going to reach the level that we are seeing – he is a starter for England and he is obviously a starter for Arsenal.”

Saka is a player you can’t help but love, particularly if you’re an Arsenal fan, and, come the end of this season, he may well join the illustrious list of players to win a league title with Arsenal.
