Arsenal skipper Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has sent a goodbye message to Mesut Ozil ahead of his move to Fenerbahce.
The German playmaker hasn’t kicked a ball for us since March last year. Mikel Arteta has wanted him gone for a long time now and the Arsenal boss is finally about to get his wish.
Arteta confirmed yesterday that Ozil is in Turkey undergoing a medical. He claimed that there is paperwork still to be done, but admitted that the move is imminent. (Arsenal.com)

Ozil will leave Arsenal after seven-and-a-half years. The former Real Madrid man has divided opinion since the day he stepped foot inside the Emirates, and ironically, he leaves the club in a similar fashion.
Some fans feel Arteta is right to push him out of the door, while others feel that Ozil has been treated very badly by the club.
Aubameyang has had his say in his own cryptic way. He sent a goodbye message to Ozil on Instagram with the caption ‘Don’t need to talk about how good you are on and off the pitch and how you take care of people’.
The caption might just be a thinly veiled dig at Arteta and the club’s treatment of Ozil since after lockdown.
The 32-year-old joined us when we needed him the most and helped end our trophy drought in his first season. He has had his ups and downs, but the one thing people cannot deny is his loyalty.
Arsenal have made their decision and Ozil is gone, but things could have been handled in a better way. Sadly, it wasn’t, but as Arteta said himself, Ozil’s legacy at the Emirates is unquestionable. (Goal)
