Arsenal lifted the Premier League trophy at Selhurst Park today and former striker Eddie Nketiah had a first-hand view of proceedings.
Nketiah was sold on by Arsenal to Crystal Palace but he’s struggled to really find any form with the Eagles.
However, despite seeing his current side lose 2-1 to the Gunners today, there will have been a part of Nketiah that was delighted for his former team.
Indeed, taking to his Instagram account earlier this evening, Nketiah shared an image and congratulatory message towards his former.

Clearly, Nketiah will have a feeling deep down that he too could have part of this title winning squad had things gone differently.
Nevertheless, he was on hand to witness the scenes anyway and on Instagram, he shared an image he’d taken on the field with the Arsenal fans in with the message ‘Congratulations to everyone at that special club, CHAMPIONS!’
It was a touching message from a player who Mikel Arteta will still very much regard as part of the journey to get to where Arsenal needed.
Despite it not quite working for Nketiah at The Emirates, he scored some important goals and brought in good money which was reinvested into the current squad.
Along the way, a number of players have played their part and are no longer at the club.
Nketiah stands alongside the likes of Reiss Nelson, Granit Xhaka and more who have all contributed.
This, then, is a nice touch from a player who clearly loves Arsenal.
