According to a report from Brazilian journalist Eduardo Gabardo on Gauchazh, French champions Paris Saint-Germain and Arsenal have both enquired about the possibility of signing Gremio’s 22-year-old attacker Everton Soares.
The winger had a spectacular campaign in the recently completed Copa America where he scored in the final as Brazil thumped Peru to lift the title. Everton’s stunning performances have attracted a ton of interest and Arsenal should be all over his case this summer.

The Gunners desperately need a new wide player but their tiny transfer kitty is costing Unai Emery big time. The widely reported attempt to sign Crystal Palace’s Wilfried Zaha could also break down due to Arsenal’s inability to pay up the big bucks but Everton could well prove to be a more sensible option this summer.
Everton finished the Copa America campaign with three goals and an assist in just four starts and his profile fits Arsenal’s need perfectly. The 22-year-old can play on either wing as well as in a number 10 position.
The Gremio star can effectively combine with the Arsenal’s forwards Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and the trio could form a dangerous attacking partnership next season. At just 22 years of age, Everton Soares’ best is yet to come and Arsenal could use new technical director Edu’s connections in Brazil to beat PSG to his signing in the coming weeks.
