The Gunners face a very tough Champions League semi-final against Atletico Madrid, and they will have to face one of Europe’s best coaches in Diego Simeone.

Emmanuel Adebayor on Arsenal’s Premier League title dream
Emmanuel Adebayor thinks that Arsenal’s game against Atletico Madrid will be such a physical battle that it will have implications on their Premier League form.
The former Gunners striker has spoken about how physical Simeone’s side can be, and he can see some of the players picking up injuries.
Following the defeat to Man City, Adebayor told Premier League Productions: “The key moment of this end of season is going to be Atletico Madrid for Arsenal. That will be a huge one. That will be a tough one. Obviously, we know how they play.
Is Declan Rice right or is the Premier League title race DONE?
“They’re going to fight a physical battle again. Then obviously, some players will get kicked. Some players will get injured. Some will get tired. I think it can be a huge thing to make Arsenal fall this season.”
Arsenal should be confident about the Atletico Madrid clash
But despite their physicality, Atletico have actually been in pretty poor form over the last few weeks, and Arsenal should be really confident.
The Spanish team have lost six of their last seven matches in all competitions, including the Copa del Rey final last weekend.
Atletico could also be missing Ademola Lookman for the first-leg at the Metropolitano, as the winger is struggling with an adductor injury.
The Gunners have already beaten Atletico this season, winning 4-0 in N5 in the group stage and should be feeling confident about this game.
