England duo Dean Henderson and Ollie Watkins are both in agreement about Declan Rice over one thing the Arsenal star is doing on international duty.
The 25-year-old midfielder has been a key player for the Three Lions this summer with Rice playing every minute of football at Euro 2024 for England, with the Arsenal dynamo impressing in the round of 16 win against Slovakia.
With Switzerland coming up next for Gareth Southgate’s side on Saturday, England and Arsenal fans will be hopeful that Rice can put on another good performance as the Three Lions look to book their ticket into the semi-finals for the first time in back-to-back Euros.
And Henderson and Watkins now agree on one thing Rice is doing behind the scenes.

Rice viewed by England teammates as the joker of the group
Speaking on Lions’ Den, Henderson and Watkins both agreed that Rice was the joker of the England squad, with the Premier League duo revealing that the Arsenal man is ‘always’ up to something mischievous.
Given Rice’s personality, it’s perhaps no real surprise that the former West Ham captain has been anointed the joker of the current England squad, something the midfielder more than likely is at Arsenal as well.

Indeed, personality is a big thing at Arsenal under Mikel Arteta, with the Basque coach identifying players based on how they both on and off the pitch and how they are as people with teammates and staff.
And from this latest update on Rice, it’s no real wonder why Arsenal spent a club-record fee to sign the England international, who is showing this summer why he is such a beloved member of the Three Lions squad after a sensational first year in north London.

Arsenal fans will be excited to see Rice back this summer
Whilst Arsenal return to action in some capacity later this month in pre-season, it’s still going to be quite the wait until the north London side are back in Premier League action, where Rice will hopefully be fit enough to start.
The 25-year-old midfielder was ever-present for Arsenal last season as Rice thrived under Arteta in his new advanced role in central midfield, with the Gunners coming close to beating Manchester City to the Premier League title.
And heading into the new season, fans will be excited to see Rice back in Arsenal colours, with supporters expecting big things from the England international as well as the squad, who could finally go the distance against City.
