The Premier League fixtures for the 2025/26 season will be released on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, with a release time of 9am (BST).
When is the first Premier League fixture weekend?
The first Premier League weekend of the 2025/26 season will span over August 16 and 17, giving 83 days from the end of last season to the start of the new one.
When is the last Premier League fixture weekend?
As it stands, the final Premier League fixture is set to take place on Sunday, May 24, 2026.
All matches will be played at the same time on the same day, allowing for everything to wrap up at once.

What are the festive football fixture dates?
Premier League matches are set to be played before and after Christmas – though there will be no Christmas Eve fixture this season.
There will be matches played on Boxing Day, while some will span over New Year’s Day.

There are four international breaks to take note of for the 2025/26 season, three of which come before 2026.
The dates to take note of are:
- September 1-9
- October 6-14
- November 10-18
- March 23-31
The other consideration is the Africa Cup of Nations, which will span December 21 until January 18, in the middle of the season.
As it stands, none of the current Arsenal players have qualified for the tournament.
Then there is the 2026 World Cup, which takes place in early June, just a few weeks after the 2025/26 season ends.
