Arsenal remain entirely committed to Ethan Nwaneri and are eagerly awaiting the attacking midfielder’s return from his turbulent loan spell at Marseille.
After an incredible breakthrough season, Nwaneri has hit a period of uncertainty in his career.
While he is on loan at Marseille, Arsenal’s attacking midfield options are growing back in North London, making it difficult to envisage where he fits in when he does return.

Max Dowman’s rise could cause problems for Nwaneri, but contrary to the worries fans and the media have, Arsenal already have a plan in place for the 18-year-old.
On his YouTube channel, Fabrizio Romano guaranteed that Arsenal have full confidence in Nwaneri.
Arsenal are optimistic about Ethan Nwaneri’s future beyond Marseille loan
Nwaneri has had a tough time at Marseille in recent weeks, which has clouded how brightly his loan spell started.
Manager and hierarchical changes at Marseille have not been ideal for the Arsenal starlet, but there’s a home waiting for him in N5.
“At the moment, I can guarantee that Arsenal maintain full confidence in the player,” Romano explained.
“So Arsenal are waiting for him to complete this season at Marseille for these final 10/11 games and then come back to the club.”
Despite the confidence Arsenal have in Nwaneri, it’s too early to tell if he will be at the club next season or out on another loan.

Regardless of how Dowman’s rise and Eberechi Eze’s arrival have impacted Nwaneri, Romano doubled down on the fact that nothing has changed regarding his long-term future from Arsenal’s point of view.
“Arsenal maintain full trust in Ethan. Even if they understand it’s been an unlucky loan so far at Marseille, they believe in the player. They trust the player. They trust his potential, and so nothing has changed in terms of long-term plans.”
