Forbes reveal Arsenal are now worth more than £4 billion

There was a time when Arsenal fans feared the club would be left behind financially.

Manchester City’s spending power, Chelsea’s lavish transfer activity and the rise of several European giants created genuine concerns about where the Gunners stood among football’s elite.

That conversation looks very different today.

The Gunners are Premier League champions, regular contenders in the Champions League and one of the most commercially successful clubs in world football.

Those achievements have now been reflected in Forbes’ latest valuation rankings, where Arsenal are now the eighth most valuable football club in the world.

The Gunners have been valued at an incredible $5.4 billion, which works out at roughly £4.05 billion.

That places Arsenal ahead of several huge clubs, including Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur, Juventus, AC Milan and Inter Milan.

The numbers become even more impressive when you look at the club’s revenue.

Forbes report that Arsenal generated $895 million in revenue, representing a massive 59 per cent increase compared to the previous year.

Those figures show just how powerful Arsenal have become both on and off the pitch.

Arsenal’s Premier League title has already paid for itself

Success in football has always been about more than trophies. Winning major honours brings prestige, but it also unlocks huge commercial opportunities.

That is exactly what Arsenal are experiencing now.

The club’s return to the summit of English football has strengthened their global profile, increased revenues and made Arsenal an even more attractive destination for sponsors and elite players.

It is further proof that success on the pitch often creates success away from it.

With Champions League football, a Premier League title and one of the strongest squads in Europe, Arsenal look perfectly positioned to keep growing financially in the years ahead.
