Danny Welbeck’s career in football has seen him hit the heights as he continues to extend his playing days with Brighton in the Premier League.
The striker came through the Manchester United academy before making the switch to Arsenal in 2014 to help Arsene Wenger.
At that time, Danny Welbeck had a few highlights but largely suffered from injuries that kept him out of action.
The striker went on to leave Arsenal in 2019 after five years at the Emirates Stadium, featuring for Watford before finding a home at Brighton.
While many have marvelled at his late career run with the Seagulls, his quality has always been there to shine through.
Now, reflecting on some of his career so far, Welbeck has revealed who his favourite strike partner has been in his career.

Ex-Arsenal star Danny Welbeck snubs Cristiano Ronaldo for Alexis Sanchez as his favourite strike partner
Welbeck has played with some top strikers over the years, with Manchester United having the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Dimitar Berbatov in their ranks.
Arsenal have also seen plenty of elite forwards play during that five-year stint with Olivier Giroud and Alexis Sanchez among those.
Speaking to Sky Sports, Welbeck was asked to pick his favourite to play with out of those four options.
Many would’ve perhaps expected Ronaldo, due to his status as one of the greatest in the world to play the sport.
On the ex-Man United forward, Welbeck said: “Actually when I was first in the dressing room and I was in the corner between Ronaldo and Ryan Giggs I was a 17-year-old and that’s who I’m sat between.
“It was just amazing to see. Ronaldo, you saw how early he got to the training ground, how late he left.
“I didn’t play as many games with him but I still got to play with him and train with him for a couple of years and that was so special.”
Despite that glowing review of the forward, Welbeck actually opted for Alexis Sanchez as his favourite striker to play with.
He continued: “I’m going to go for Sanchez. I played a lot of games with him and I really had a good connection with him.
“He was one where he could spot runs and find me and come again we just had a really good connection between us.”
In the end, Alexis Sanchez joined Manchester United in a swap deal with Henrikh Mkhitaryan – though the overall deal came to around £32million for each player to move the other way.
