Forget Martin Odegaard and Bukayo Saka, the best creator in the Premier League is another Arsenal star

Arsenal are one of the most creative teams in the world.

The Gunners are six points clear at the top of the Premier League table, and they are leading the way in the Champions League as well. To add to that, the North Londoners have made it into the Carabao Cup semi-final too.

Arsenal even have the highest xG in the entire Premier League, which is incredible, as many feel that Manchester City have the best attack in the division.

Martin Odegaard and Bukayo Saka are usually Mikel Arteta’s chief creators, but another Arsenal player has been better than everyone else this season – Declan Rice.

Is Declan Rice one of the most consistent Arsenal players of the Emirates era? If not, who is/was?

Stat shows Arsenal star Declan Rice is the best creator in the Premier League

Rice has been one of Arsenal’s best players this season.

The England international has been fantastic for the Gunners since he joined them from West Ham United in 2023, but he has taken his game to a whole new level this term.

In Arsenal’s most recent game, Rice scored twice to help the Premier League leaders beat Bournemouth 3-2 and extend their gap at the top of the table to six points.

Scoring goals is not all Rice does, though. He has picked up seven assists already in all competitions, and that number would’ve been a lot higher if his teammates were more efficient in front of goal.

According to Squawka, the Arsenal number 41 has created 14 big chances in all competitions this season.

That is the most by any player in the Premier League, which is an incredible statistic when you consider how many great number 10s there are in the division.

Arsenal’s rivals should be scared of Declan Rice

Rice is the best midfielder in the world right now.

The former West Ham man has always been solid while defending, and thanks to Arsenal manager Arteta over the last few years, he is now a force in attack as well.

Arsenal fans are loving Rice’s performances, but what’s even more exciting is the fact that he is still only 26 years old and isn’t even in his prime yet.

Arteta recently claimed that Rice can improve even more in the coming months and years, which means he will go to a higher level.

That is scary – not for Arsenal fans but for the rivals because most of them can’t even stop Rice in his current form.
