Former Arsenal defender Kieran Gibbs has weighed in on who is the better player between Jorginho and Chelsea’s Moises Caicedo.
The Italian international was Man of the Match yesterday as Jorginho put in arguably his best performance to date in an Arsenal shirt in a 3-1 win against Liverpool.
As for Caicedo, the British record signing again endured a bad day at the office for Chelsea as the Blues were beaten 4-2 at home by Wolves, with the west London side sat 11th in the Premier League.

And speaking on ESPN, former Arsenal star Gibbs was asked which midfielder he currently believes is the best, with Caicedo signed to essentially replace Jorginho at Chelsea this summer.
Gibbs said when answering who is currently the better player between Arsenal’s Jorginho and Caicedo: “I don’t think Moises Caicedo is a worse player than Jorginho.
“I think he’s got a lot of raw talent, but you have to find the best way to fit him into a team. This Chelsea team is just not fitting for him. I don’t think he’s a worse player, he’s just in a worse team.”
Jorginho is showing at Arsenal that Chelsea were wrong to sell him

Arsenal signing players from Chelsea can go one of two ways; they’re fantastic additions who bring real quality to the squad or they’re absolute car crashes who quickly become fan villains.
Thankfully for Jorginho, the midfielder falls into the former category, with the Italian international proving to be quite an inspired signing for Arsenal over the last 12 months.
The midfielder has added experience and leadership to Arsenal’s squad, and this weekend’s performance against Liverpool was easily Jorginho’s best yet for the Gunners.
Whilst many would argue Caicedo is the better long-term player, Jorginho is showing this season that Chelsea made a mistake in selling the midfielder to a rival club, with results speaking for themselves.
