Arsenal have sold several Hale End starlets in the last few years, with some thriving at other clubs.
Emile Smith Rowe is now a key player at Fulham, whilst Folarin Balogun is playing in the Champions League with Monaco.
Both players were two of Hale End’s top talents, but neither could hold down consistent game time under Mikel Arteta.
Before Smith Rowe, there was another talent who was earmarked as a potential future star, and he is now proving exactly why, with an outstanding display in the Champions League.

Former Arsenal youngster Donyell Malen scores against Real Madrid in Champions League
Dutch International winger Donyell Malen is thriving for Borussia Dortmund having helped them reach the Champions League final last season.
Arsenal were linked with Malen, as the winger was reportedly keen on a potential return to the club, but Raheem Sterling arrived instead.
Malen started for Dortmund in their trip to face Real Madrid, in a rematch of the Champions League final, and the 25-year-old was outstanding.
Dortmund took a shock 2-0 lead, with Malen opening the scoring in the 30th minute with a driven finish, before he showed great speed to cross for Jamie Gittens to finish just four minutes later.
Real Madrid did go on to win 5-2, but Malen’s individual display was excellent, and he achieved something that only Thierry Henry managed whilst at Arsenal.
Thierry Henry is the only Arsenal player to score away at Real Madrid
Arsenal have only faced Real Madrid once in competitive action, in a Champions League last-16 matchup in 2006.
Henry produced one of his finest moments in an Arsenal shirt, scoring a remarkable individual goal to win the game at the Santiago Bernabeu.
This made him the only Arsenal player to ever score away at Real Madrid whilst playing for the club. Danny Welbeck also managed it whilst playing for Manchester United, whilst Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored twice in a 4-0 Barcelona win after leaving Arsenal.
Malen is truly thriving on the big stage, and he is now making a name for himself after a few inconsistent years since departing Arsenal in 2017.
