Tottenham Hotspur have sacked Thomas Frank just before their North London Derby clash against Arsenal.

The Gunners still have three games to play before they face Spurs, but the Lilywhites have a 12-day gap to prepare for the Premier League leaders.

Tottenham players have been given some time off in the coming days while their side looks for a new manager to replace Frank.

Arsenal supporters have some wild suggestions.

Arsenal fans’ savage manager suggestions for Tottenham

Arsenal fans have been enjoying Tottenham’s recent difficulties, and their vacant managerial position has led to some more jokes.

On Arsenal Insider’s official Facebook page, we asked Gooners who they would pick as Spurs’ new manager if they were tasked with the job.

Our followers came up with some hilarious suggestions.

One fan commented: “Gary Neville the coach, Ruben Amorim the assistant and Rooney the second assistant.”

Another said: “Rooney, Big Sam and Gary Neville.”

“Get Sherwood or Teddy Sheringham,” wrote another.

Another Arsenal fan replied: “By force, I will reinstate Thomas Frank.”

“Roy Keane please,” said another with a laughing emoji.

Other funny replies included Erik ten Hag, Jamie O’Hara, Mike Bassett from the 2001 movie, and, of course, the great Sol Campbell.

Arsenal should be careful about the new manager bounce against Tottenham

Tottenham having Frank in charge for the game against Arsenal would’ve been ideal, as the atmosphere in their stadium would’ve been awful.

Now, with a new manager expected to come in before the North London Derby, Spurs fans will be up for the game, as will their players.

Mikel Arteta and his players must be aware of this threat when they go to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on the 22nd of February.

However, even with all the excitement of a new manager, Spurs are a very average team, and Arsenal should be able to beat them without too much trouble.
