Arsenal are set to travel to the USA for their pre-season tour, but they played one training ground game before jetting off.
Arsenal played against League One side Leyton Orient behind closed doors at the Sobha Realty Training Centre a day before they fly to Los Angeles.
A lot of first-team stars were in action, with many substitutions made throughout the game as Mikel Arteta’s side recorded a dominant 2-0 victory.
Goals from Gabriel Jesus and Emile Smith Rowe handed Arsenal the win, with several academy talents featuring alongside some big names in the first team.
Arsenal beat Leyton Orient 2-0 in training ground friendly
Arsenal have confirmed that the side won 2-0 with Jesus and Smith Rowe on the scoresheet, and whilst the players at Euro 2024 and the Copa America were missing, plenty of key players were in action.
Jesus started the game and scored in the 20th minute, slotting in after Eddie Nketiah played the ball across.
Smith Rowe scored after just three minutes on the pitch, coming on as a half-time substitute for Fabio Vieira, and finished after good work from Jesus.

Arsenal’s next pre-season fixture

Arsenal will travel to the USA, where they could be joined by Riccardo Calafiori after a deal was agreed, whilst Euro 2024 stars such as Kai Havertz and Oleksandr Zinchenko could also link up with the team.
Arsenal will face AFC Bournemouth, Manchester United and Liverpool in their pre-season games in the USA, before returning to North London to face Bayer Leverkusen and Lyon in the Emirates Cup.
