Gabriel Jesus is one of the most experienced players in Arsenal’s squad, and all of his teammates look up to him.

The Brazilian played with some of the best players in the world at Manchester City and also worked under Pep Guardiola, who many consider the greatest manager ever.

That experience is something he now uses to help his teammates at Arsenal improve their game. Jesus revealed how he has advised Declan Rice recently.

Now, he has shared what he is constantly telling Eberechi Eze behind the scenes – to get on the ball more.

Answer honestly, can Arsenal win the Premier League without Eberechi Eze?

Gabriel Jesus shares the non-stop advice he has been giving to Eberechi Eze at Arsenal

Eze is one of the most exciting attackers in the Premier League because of his ability to produce magical moments.

The England international has already shown that quality at Arsenal on a few occasions – just ask Tottenham fans what he can do.

However, there have also been games where Eze has struggled to make an impact and has gone missing. That led to a lot of criticism.

Gabriel Jesus believes those struggles are because he is not getting on the ball enough.

The former Manchester City man has revealed that he has been constantly telling Eze to demand the ball more, and he has joked that the Englishman is probably upset with him because of that.

Jesus said on Rio Ferdinand’s YouTube channel: “Ebs is the one that, I think, last two-three weeks, he is a little bit p—-d off with me maybe, in a good way.

“Because I tell him all the time: ‘Look, you have to have the ball at your feet at least 20 times per game. Tell people, scream. If they don’t pass to you, tell him to pass.’

“And not to drop in there (number six role). This is a holding midfielder’s role, to build and give the ball to the attacking players. I keep saying to him every day now. Before the game, I say, ‘I’m counting now.’

“Because he is that good, you know? When you see someone who is so good, and you see him not having an impact or doing well, you want to help.”

Do you think Eberechi Eze could succeed as a defensive midfielder at Arsenal?

Gabriel Jesus’ advice to Eberechi Eze is perfect

Eze is a player who can win games on his own for Arsenal when he is at his best, but he cannot do that if he doesn’t get on the ball enough.

That is why Jesus’ advice makes complete sense.

Eze needs to demand the ball more and take responsibility, especially in the final third. The more touches he has, the more chances he will have to influence the game.

In the two North London Derby wins against Tottenham, Eze got on the ball much more than usual, and he was afforded space in the final third to do what he wanted. That is why he destroyed Spurs in both games.

We hope to see Eze do the same against every other team once he returns from his injury in the coming weeks.
