If there is one Arsenal player who has been underrated in the club’s recent rebuild, it’s defender Gabriel Magalhaes.
The centre-back joined in 2020 from French outfit LOSC Lille as a promising 22-year-old option at the back.
While the Brazilian had a rocky start to life at the Emirates Stadium, making the occasional mistake and being punished for it, he has slowly grown into a top player.
Next to William Saliba, Gabriel has been touted as one of the best in the world in his position, though he is often overshadowed by his centre-back partner.
The Arsenal fans have taken their time to show their appreciation towards the 26-year-old in a recent clip shared on social media.

Gabriel Magalhaes reacts to Arsenal fan chant
Following yet another clean sheet for Arsenal against Shakhtar Donetsk in the Champions League, supporters were seen serenading Gabriel just outside the Emirates Stadium.
As the defender drove past a local pub with his partner, she recorded the interaction as they lauded the star.
The post on Instagram had his partner singing the song before panning to Gabriel’s reaction in the driver’s seat.
The Brazilian was delighted, showing a beaming smile on his face and plenty of emotions as he drove beyond the gaggle of supporters.
It continues to show the impact that the supporters have on their players and the performances they continue to put in, week after week.
With the fanbase now fully behind the Gunners, the only thing left to do is to deliver a trophy in the months ahead.

Arsenal family key to Mikel Arteta success
The social media clip, beyond anything else, displays the complete shift in attitude at Arsenal over the years.
From despondent and frustrated to supporting and loving, the atmosphere has been key to Mikel Arteta’s rebuild at the club.
For all of the talk surrounding transfers and fees, tactics and trials, the overriding change has come in a family atmosphere built by the Arsenal boss.
Players perform and feel the love from their supporters, which makes them push above and beyond, bringing even more reciprocated love.
That family bond built at London Colney has lifted the standards, but only time will tell if it can make the contribution towards a trophy or not.
Regardless of that, the journey taken so far has been sweet but the destination could be even sweeter come May 2025.
