Gabriel Martinelli and Noni Madueke have named their best finisher in the current Arsenal squad but just like the fans, there’s some disagreement.
Arsenal hit 100 goals for the season in all competitions when Madueke struck against Mansfield in the FA Cup.
But when it comes to the very best at finding the back of the net, Madueke and Martinelli have picked different players.
Are Arsenal fans really the worst supporters in the world?
Eberechi Eze and Viktor Gyokeres named as Arsenal’s best finishers
There is plenty of talent in this current Arsenal squad and while they don’t have an Erling Haaland or a Harry Kane, the Gunners have plenty of attacking talent.
Answering questions on TikTok, Martinelli went with attacking midfielder Eberechi Eze as his top dog.
“Ebz. He’s so good on the ball and his finishing is top. I told him, we should play them (Tottenham) every few days,” Martinelli said.

As for Madueke, he disagreed, giving it to new star striker, Viktor Gyokeres.
“Best finisher? That’s Gyokeres,” Madueke commented.
Who has the better goals to chances ratio out of Eberechi Eze and Viktor Gyokeres?
These sorts of stats are always interesting to look at and when we look solely at Eze and Gyokeres, there’s a clear winner.
When it comes to goals from chances had, it is indeed Gyokeres who leads the way.
With 10 goals from 42 shots, Gyokeres has a conversion rate of 23.8%. Compare that to Eze’s six goals in 42 attempts, and it puts him down at the 14.3% mark.

When compared to the rest of the Premier League, Gyokeres isn’t doing too badly. Erling Haaland has a 20.9% conversion rate but he has taken 96 shots compared to others.
Interestingly, top of the pile with those taking over 20 shots is Bournemouth’s Eli Junior Kroupi, who has an impressive 27.6% conversion rate from his 29 shots on goal.
