Gary Lineker has double-downed on his prediction for Arsenal to be right in there for the Premier League title.
The Gunners enjoyed yet another incredible result on the weekend as Mikel Arteta’s side claimed a comfortable 5-0 win away to Burnley, taking Arsenal to second in the Premier League standings.
With Manchester City dropping points against Chelsea, Arsenal are in a strong position to now challenge Liverpool for top spot, with the Reds losing two players on Saturday through injury in Curtis Jones and Diogo Jota.
Gary Lineker continues to back Arsenal for the Premier League title

And speaking on the Rest is Football, Lineker again backed Arsenal for the title, with the north London side hitting their best patch of form all season after a disastrous festive period.
Since the mid-season break to Dubai, Arsenal have returned a different club entirely, with the Gunners scoring goals for fun and not letting their opponents have a single sniff in front of goal.
Indeed, there’s good reason to believe that Arsenal are the in-form team in Europe right now, and Lineker has once again backed Arsenal for the title, despite the looming threat of City.
Lineker said: “Arsenal are plodding on, my tip for the title. You were giving me grief for it before Christmas but they’re still in there. They’re banging in the goals this year.
Arsenal have to maintain form if they’re to win the Premier League

Whilst City and Liverpool remain the two favourites for the Premier League title, Arsenal have hit form at the right time, with the Gunners looking unstoppable.
The north London side are playing without fear with Arteta finally hitting that magic formula that has got his side ticking and producing some quite brilliant football.
Yet as is the case in the Premier League, maintaining this level of form is what will separate the Gunners from the rest of the pack, and Arsenal can’t allow performance levels to drop in the coming weeks.
