For the first time this season, Gary Lineker is starting to have serious doubts as to whether Arsenal will win the Premier League after losing to Bournemouth.

The Gunners are having a real wobble right now, losing three of their last four matches, with both domestic cups disappearing from their sights.

Now, all the pressure is on winning either the Premier League or Champions League, but serious doubts seem to be creeping in at the Emirates Stadium.

Following the 2-1 defeat to Bournemouth and Manchester City’s win at Chelsea, Lineker has now expressed his concerns for the Gunners’ title bid.

Gary Lineker finally has Arsenal title concerns

Gary Lineker finally has concerns about Arsenal’s chances of wrapping up the Premier League title for the first time this season.

For the majority of the season, the former England international has been confident that Mikel Arteta’s team would get the job done.

However, with Manchester City closing the gap to six points, he has concerns as to whether Arsenal has what it takes.

Lineker told The Rest Is Football: “No creativity whatsoever. Didn’t seem to be any belief. Weren’t even very good defensively.

“So, I mean, it was the first time yesterday, and particularly following City’s performance against Chelsea in the second half, when I thought they’re absolutely brilliant.

“For the first time, I’ve thought to myself, I’m not sure they’re going to do it, and I’ve been convinced for months now that, and I know you’ve kept saying it’s not over.

Meanwhile, speaking to Alan Shearer about his take on the game, Lineker revealed that he also has doubts over whether Arsenal will win the Premier League now.

“I spoke to Alan (Shearer) about this and got his take on Arsenal because obviously he hadn’t seen the City game, and he said, ‘It’s for the first time I think they might miss out on this’. Next week’s game, it is a monster,” he said.

Arsenal now need to prove everyone wrong when they travel away to the Etihad next weekend to face Manchester City.

Next weekend’s clash with Pep Guardiola’s side is surely set to determine which team wins the league, and the Gunners must prove they have the bottle to do so.
