Arsenal have endured a tough start to the season, and have fallen behind in the Premier League title race.
Mikel Arteta has had to contend with several key injuries, numerous red cards and a brutal fixture list which has already seen Arsenal play away at some of the toughest grounds in the league.
Some of the red cards have been controversial, and VAR audio of William Saliba’s dismissal against Bournemouth has now been released.
Some predicted Arsenal to win the Premier League after finishing just two points behind Manchester City last season, but they are just a few more bad results from being out of the running completely.
Former Manchester United defender Gary Neville has often been outspoken in his criticism of Arsenal, but he has surprisingly leapt to their defence, and claimed that they can still win the league.

Gary Neville believes Arsenal can still win Premier League title
Speaking on the Stick To Football Podcast, Neville claimed that the bad luck that has plagued Arsenal so far, is almost certain to ease up for the rest of the season, and is sticking with his prediction that they will win the league.
“When I think of the problems Arsenal have had in the first 10 games, inherently I’m ignoring the Pep years where you have to set 100 points,” Neville explained.
“After 10 games I’m not going to change my title winners. I think Arsenal have had it as bad as it could get, with sendings off and injuries, it will not get as bad in these next 27 games for Arsenal.”
Jamie Carragher does not believe Arsenal are better than Liverpool
Liverpool have had a strong start to the season under new manager Arne Slot, and are defying expectations in the title race.
Former Liverpool star Jamie Carragher now believes that they are a better side than Arsenal, but Neville is not yet convinced.
“I’m not going to change my title winners after 11 games, I think Arsenal are a better team than Liverpool. Do you think Arsenal are a better team than Liverpool?” Neville asked Carragher.
“No. They’re nine points behind!” Carragher retorted.
Arsenal drew 2-2 with Liverpool in unlucky circumstances, as they had a late goal disallowed whilst also finishing the game with a makeshift back-four.
Fans have been quick to point out the injury crisis and refereeing controversies Arsenal have suffered, and Neville has surprisingly agreed that their form should dramatically improve once these have been resolved.
