After a difficult period of results, Gary Neville has now shared his thoughts on Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal team lifting the Premier League title.
Dismal defeats to both West Ham United and Fulham have left Arsenal down in fourth, just one point ahead of Tottenham Hotspur.

And with no league game until 20th of January against Crystal Palace at The Emirates, Arsenal will now stew in those defeats.
That being said, Gary Neville has now provided a reason for optimism despite sharing the disappointment of Arsenal fans.
Speaking on Sky Sports, Neville still thought that Arteta’s Arsenal team can lift the title.
Neville said: “I’m not going to change my prediction. I don’t think you can sort of flip-flop halfway through a season. They’re not completely out of it Arsenal.
“I’ve been disappointed with them, they’ll be disappointed with themselves and the Arsenal fans will be disappointed with them over the past two or three weeks because they’ve missed an opportunity to put themselves in a great position.
“Not where they would be in a position where you would say they’re going to win the league but that four, five six point gap with the games they have had in the last few weeks.
“They’re just in a difficult patch but they can come back, they can win the league.”
Gary Neville says Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal team can still win the league
Of course, many fans will probably agree with Neville’s view.
Yes, the disappointment is rife right now, but Arsenal have still laid a solid foundation for a successful season.

A win in the FA Cup against Liverpool on Sunday could also prove a perfect remedy as well.
Perhaps the club do need to chase the signing of Ivan Toney with some haste, but they won’t make knee-jerk decisions.
As well the lack of goals being a worry, Arsenal do also need reinforcements at the back.
Jakub Kiwior couldn’t effectively deputise for Oleksandr Zinchenko at Fulham, highlighting a lack of options.
Jurrien Timber’s unfortunate absence is being felt more than ever, and he might now need a short-term replacement – even if there is some good news regarding Zinchenko’s issue.
Neville is right to point out that Arteta’s Arsenal side can still win the league, but they’ll certain need a quick change in momentum.
