Gary Neville believes that Manchester City now have a ‘big chance’ in the Premier League title race and has told them to put the pressure on Arsenal by beating Fulham.

The Gunners will be delighted to still be six points clear; however, considering Liverpool were 1-0 up, there will be a tint of disappointment about the result.

Following City’s win at Anfield, Neville has now been discussing the Premier League title race and both teams’ chances of winning.

Gary Neville fears that Arsenal’s title-winning inexperience could play into Manchester City’s hands heading into the final 13 matches.

The former Manchester United defender has also urged Pep Guardiola’s team to put the pressure on the Gunners by beating Fulham on Wednesday.

Mikel Arteta’s team then travel away to Brentford the following day, which could prove to be a key moment in the battle for top spot.

Speaking about the lay of the land in the title race, Neville told Sky Sports: “I have to say that City have a big chance. They have a big chance to go and put some pressure on a team that have not won a title before.

“Not one Arsenal player really has got the experience of winning Premier League titles, and the manager hasn’t either directly.

“So I think from that point of view it’s an unbelievable opportunity for City to beat Fulham on Wednesday night.

“That becomes critical now for City to go and beat Fulham on Wednesday night and go to within three points.

“Arsenal play away at a very in-form Brentford on Thursday. Now, I think Arsenal will win. I think Arsenal are a stronger side.

“But if you just want to keep asking questions, you’ve just got to be on the shoulder and just keep poking them and just letting them know that you’re there.”

Right now, everything is building up to an exciting climax ahead of City and Arsenal facing one another in April at the Etihad Stadium.
