Gary Neville thinks Manchester City’s games away at Everton and Bournemouth are the two they could slip up in.

Pep Guardiola’s team now have the chance to move to the top of the Premier League table with a win over Burnley on Wednesday.

πŸ’ How many points will Arsenal and Man City take from the next five matches?

City’s 2-1 win over the Gunners has really boosted their hopes of winning a ninth Premier League title; however, the race is not over just yet.

Guardiola still has some tricky games to negotiate, and Neville has picked out the two fixtures where they could falter.

Gary Neville thinks Everton and Bournemouth will be tough for Man City

Gary Neville thinks Everton and Bournemouth away are the games where Man City will need to slip up for Arsenal to stand a chance of catching them.

City’s final six matches are games away at Burnley, Everton and Bournemouth, with home games against Brentford, Crystal Palace and Aston Villa.

Given the form City are in, Neville thinks there is every chance they win all six, but were they to slip, it’s most likely to come in one of the away games.

He told The Gary Neville Podcast: β€œSomething has to happen against Everton away. Bournemouth away, I think, they’re the games that could be a little bit trickier for City. But City, you fancy them to win every single match.

β€œI mean, can Arsenal outscore City in the last few weeks of the season? That’s difficult as well, with where City score goals. Haaland, Cherki, Semenyo, Foden, Savinho, Doku, they’re all capable, aren’t they?

β€œBut look, Arsenal have got to go and score goals and win games. And do their own job, most importantly. The main thing when you’re in this position is to be there if the other teams slip up.”

Significantly for Arsenal, they do not leave London in their final five games of the season, which could give them the edge.

The Gunners are still in the Champions League, though and will face Atletico Madrid twice before games against Fulham and West Ham United.

The race for the title is now so close and could even be decided by goal difference come the end of the season.
