Arsenal’s squad is as strong as it has been for many years and there is a feeling of now or never when it comes to winning the title under Mikel Arteta.
With a six point gap and players coming off the bench who would walk into most teams in the league, The Gunners are in a strong position to be champions.
Last night’s draw with Liverpool can be seen as a point gained and now we’re in the crunch point of the campaign, Arsenal’s big and talented squad should prove vital.
If you could make one pundit stop talking about Arsenal, who would you choose and why?
Gary Neville, Jamie Carragher or someone else?
For many other clubs, there is a feeling of envy when they see who Arsenal have on the bench. Indeed, just last night, they brought on Ebere Eze, Gabi Martinelli and Gabriel Jesus, all in one moment.
In fact, Arsenal’s squad is so strong, that Gary Neville has made a bold claim regarding a potential second string.
Gary Neville makes top four claim about Arsenal’s bench
Look, many of us have heard enough of Gary Neville this season and at times, he has got some things very wrong.
However, he is still worth a listen and oftentimes, he does provide some unique insight.

Indeed, this week, he was mesmerised by the talent Arsenal had on the bench vs Liverpool and according to Neville, that bench and other fringe players would be a success in the Premier League.
“I actually look at their bench and think that if they played a second 11, I think their second 11 would finish in the top four in this league right now, not with the quality of the teams, but the quality of this Arsenal bench,” Neville suggested.
“So for me, they’re in a great position. There’s still a long way to go, but I don’t see them making a mistake from here.”

Arsenal’s bench is strong but so it should be
Gary Neville is about right here and in reality, Arsenal’s second string would have a chance of making the top four.
But, it’s worth noting that this is not just a cobbled together group of young players and experienced heads with little to offer. It is, in fact, a very expensive group of players who Mikel Arteta has chucked hundreds of millions at.
You only need to look at the likes of Kepa, Ben White, Christian Norgaard, Gabriel Jesus, and Ebere Eze and you’re already approaching the £200m mark. Add to that the likes of Ethan Nwaneri, Myles Lewis-Skelly and others, and it’s a brilliant mix of talent that is more than capable.
In a way, this puts more pressure on Mikel Arteta though and if he doesn’t win this season, you have to question if he’ll ever win.
