Arsenal attacker Bukayo Saka is probably the most-loved player in the country at the moment, and England’s star players just adore him.

Jack Grealish, James Maddison, Luke Shaw, Callum Wilson and Aaron Ramsdale all raved about him recently, and watching what they had to say about Saka will definitely make you love him even more.

Grealish, Maddison and Ramsdale’s words on Saka will make you love him even more

England’s World Cup campaign is sadly over following their defeat to France in the quarter-final last weekend.

Saka was one of the Three Lions’ best players in the tournament, scoring three goals and having a huge impact on the right flank every time he played.

It’s not just on the pitch that Saka impressed, it looks like the Arsenal man has left a lasting impression behind the scenes as well.

TalkSPORT asked Maddison, Grealish, Ramsdale, Wilson and Shaw who the ideal son-in-law in the England squad would be. Every single one of them said Saka and then went on to rave about him.

Maddison said: “The first one who springs to mind is Bukayo Saka. B is such a nice kid. You just get this relationship with him, he’s such a nice guy to everyone.”

Shaw added: “Saka, I just love the guy so much. I could sit with him for hours because he’s just brilliant.”

Grealish, who just loves Saka, said: “You know what mate? He’s the best, the best kid, honestly. I went up to his dad the other day and I said: ‘I love your son’ He’s a legend, honestly, he must be the nicest kid ever. He’s got a little bit of banter as well, he’s funny.”

Newcastle star Wilson claimed: “He’s like a little brother to me. B is a nice lad and he’s an asset to the squad definitely.

“The first time I’ve met him is in this camp, but I get on with him like a house on fire. He’s just a genuinely nice guy. He’s a young lad, he’s got a big career ahead of him, the world is his oyster. So talented but also so humble as well.”

Saka’s Arsenal teammate, Ramsdale, hailed him too: “If you haven’t seen the clip of him asking David Beckham for a picture… I don’t need to say much more. If you watch that clip, you’ll just fall in love with him.

“The nicest, most humble kid, polite as anything, been brought up the right way. I see him day in, day out, it doesn’t change. He’s like that with every member of the staff at Arsenal and here. He’s just that perfect boy.”

The Insider’s View:

After the heartbreak of Euro 2020, Saka really stepped up at the World Cup in Qatar.

He scored twice on his debut and another one against Senegal in the knockout stages. He was England’s best player against France as well, where he was a constant threat and even won a penalty.

It’s just a shame that England were knocked out, but from an Arsenal point of view, our star boy will get some rest and he’ll be back soon after a few days off to recharge his batteries.

The Premier League returns in 12 days’ time, and if Arsenal are to stay where we are – at the top of the table – we’ll need Saka to be at his absolute best. Hopefully, that will be the case.
