Harry Kane had a night to forget as his Bayern Munich side were beaten by Arsenal in the Champions League.
The Englishman has scored plenty of goals against the Gunners over the years, and he would’ve hoped to extend his record on Wednesday night.
However, Cristhian Mosquera and William Saliba dominated Kane, and the latter even mocked him on social media after the game.
Kane was really helpless against Arsenal at times, and one stat proves it.

Harry Kane didn’t have a shot against Arsenal for the first time ever
Harry Kane’s record against Arsenal is very impressive.
The 32-year-old has scored 15 goals in 22 appearances against the Gunners, and he is still the top scorer in North London Derby history.
However, Kane hasn’t scored an open-play goal against Mikel Arteta’s side since May 2022, and his poor run on that front continued on Wednesday night.
Arsenal’s two defenders were so good against the former Tottenham Hotspur man that they didn’t even allow him to have a shot at goal.
That is impressive on its own, but what makes it even better is the fact that this was a first for Kane.
In every one of his previous appearances against Arsenal when he played the full 90 minutes, the striker had registered at least one shot at goal (Opta Joe).
That streak has now come to an end.
Has Harry Kane’s luck run out against Arsenal?
William Saliba is the answer to Arsenal’s Harry Kane problem
Kane has troubled several Arsenal defenders over the years, but Saliba has dealt with him time and again.
The Frenchman has faced the Spurs icon five times in his career so far, and Kane has never scored an open-play goal in those games.
Furthermore, the England captain has only won once against Saliba’s Arsenal – he didn’t score or assist in that game either.
Arsenal fans have feared Kane for a long time, but thanks to Saliba, they now have nothing to worry about if they face him again.
