Harry Kane has been away from the Premier League for a few years now, but he still makes the headlines when it comes to Arsenal.

The England captain joined Bayern Munich in the summer of 2023, and he has been incredible in the German top-flight.

Kane has scored 143 goals and provided 33 assists in 146 games, which is an outrageous return. He has picked up multiple top scorer awards as well.

However, those trophies unfortunately remind him of Arsenal.

Harry Kane would like to change the Bundesliga top-scorer award because of Arsenal

Being the Bundesliga top-scorer is a great achievement.

The likes of Mario Gomez, Robert Lewandowski and Erling Haaland have all won the trophy over the years, but Kane has made it his own since joining Bayern.

However, the design of the trophy almost feels like a tribute to Arsenal.

The award is literally a cannon, which looks incredibly similar to the one on Arsenal’s crest and outside the Emirates Stadium.

Kane was quizzed about the same, and he admitted that he wasn’t a fan.

That’s according to Christian Falk, who said on his podcast: “That was quite a funny moment in the mixed zone. He came over with his trophy, and I said to him: ‘You’re Tottenham, that’s the Gunners.”

“He said: ‘What am I supposed to do? I can’t change it. I can’t change the trophy.’

“I think he would actually like to change it.”

Falk’s co-host added: “Yes, that’s true. It really does look quite similar to the Arsenal logo – you have to say that.”

Arsenal don’t have to worry about the Harry Kane curse in the Champions League final

Kane almost always finds a way to score against Arsenal.

The Englishman is still the record goalscorer in North London Derby history, and he has found the net against the Gunners in Bayern’s colours too.

Bayern made it into the semi-finals of the Champions League, and some fans were worried about facing Kane in the final.

Thankfully, that curse won’t affect the Gunners because PSG knocked out the Germans to book their place in the final of the competition.
