Leandro Trossard is one of a number of names in the current Arsenal squad who could be moved on this summer.

Trossard played a key role in helping Arsenal to Premier League success and also played a big part in helping the Gunners to the Champions League final.

Nevertheless, as with every top club, things evolve and along with Gabriel Martinelli and Gabriel Jesus, Trossard is believed to be on the market this summer.

However, while Arsenal may well cash in on Trossard, according to TeamTalk, things aren’t as cut and dried as it might seem.

Why Arsenal could end up keeping Leandro Trossard for next season

Trossard has been an effective signing by Mikel Arteta and has more than proven his worth since arriving from Brighton for around £27m.

But with reports suggesting Besiktas and others like the look of Trossard, many assumed his exit was certain.

However, TeamTalk are claiming that while Arsenal are open-minded when it comes to selling, they are not absolutely in their decision to let Trossard go.

Indeed, it’s suggested that unless a deal is right for both the club and the player, then the Gunners will be more than happy to keep the Belgian around for next season.

Arsenal do like the idea of bringing an upgrade into the club. But with Trossard being so reliable and crucially, having the experience some at The Emirates don’t, there is no rush to move him on.

Arsenal are expected to pursue a new forward or wide player this summer, while a number six and potentially another right-back are also on the agenda.

Trossard, then, could well face a long summer of waiting for the Gunners to sort other things out before they decide on his future.
