Arsenal stars Ethan Nwaneri and Myles Lewis-Skelly are both closing in on new, extended contracts at the club, Arsenal Insider understands.
The Hale End academy duo have both enjoyed breakout seasons for the Gunners, becoming key parts of the senior team on a regular basis.
With some impressive performances on the domestic stage with Arsenal, both youngsters have also shone for their international teams.
Myles Lewis-Skelly scored on his England senior debut, with Thomas Tuchel giving him an opportunity at left-back over both matches for the Three Lions.
While he didn’t get a senior call-up, Ethan Nwaneri did score on his full England under-21s debut as part of a 4-2 win over Portugal.
With the duo impressing, the next step appears to be sealing their future at Arsenal with extended contracts.

Ethan Nwaneri and Myles Lewis-Skelly contract update
With both Ethan Nwaneri and Myles Lewis-Skelly turning 18 years old, Arsenal can offer them longer contract extensions.
The academy pair are closing in on a new deal, with TBR Football’s Graeme Bailey revealing all the latest to Arsenal Insider.
He revealed: “Lewis-Skelly, his deal is close, we’ve been told that.
“With Nwaneri, there are no worries there, it’ll get done.
“Are they waiting for the season to be over? Possibly, but there are no issues for those two; they’ll both be signing long-term deals soon.”
It remains to be seen when an announcement could follow, but it certainly seems to be more of a case of if and when those contract extensions will be signed.

Mikel Arteta continues to disprove Hale End academy myth
Over the years, there have been some who believe Mikel Arteta is someone who doesn’t give chances to those in the Arsenal academy.
While that has been costly at times for the Arsenal boss, not least with Omari Hutchinson leaving to join rivals Chelsea, it hasn’t often been the case.
Bukayo Saka was a fine example, along with Emile Smith Rowe and Eddie Nketiah, who both went on to leave in the past summer.
Recent promotions for Nwaneri and Lewis-Skelly have only continued to disprove the myth surrounding the current Arsenal regime.
With the pair set to sign new deals, almost half the team will be made up of those who came through the youth ranks, which is a proud moment to have.
