Vinicius Jr to Arsenal could be in the works as one of the most exciting transfer links in years emerges this weekend.
The Gunners are said to be keen on pursuing a deal for Vinicius, with everyone at the club in agreement as to him being the perfect signing.
In terms of signing a new left-winger, they don’t come much better than the Brazilian right now.
However, with no deal done yet and plenty of talks still to be had, there are a number of obstacles for Arsenal to overcome on this deal.
Furthermore, it also appears that new Madrid boss, Jose Mourinho, would be an added blocker.

Jose Mourinho’s feelings on selling Vinicius Jr are clear
Jose Mourinho hasn’t returned to Real Madrid to sit and see his best players sold from under his nose.
Indeed, according to a detailed report from The Telegraph on the potential deal, Mourinho is very much against Madrid selling the Brazilian.
Mourinho sees Vinicius as an integral part of his squad and team make up and while the Spanish giants are being linked with Yan Diomande as a replacement, Mourinho knows Vinicius’ level already.
Quite whether Mourinho’s stance puts any sort of blocker on a potential deal, remains to be seen.
Madrid are well known for making big calls in the market and that includes letting big names go.

Los Blancos are thought to be keen for Vinicius to sign a new contract but they’re also acutely aware that they may need to sell if he doesn’t commit. Right now, it seems that things are edging towards the Brazilian leaving.
As for Arsenal, this sort of signing would set the tone for the summer. In reality, it would be one of the biggest and best signings the Gunners have ever made.
Indeed, the idea of Saka and Vinicius on opposite wings is enough to put the fear of God into any defence in Europe.
