Mourinho sees Vinicius as an integral part of his squad and team make up and while the Spanish giants are being linked with Yan Diomande as a replacement, Mourinho knows Vinicius’ level already.
Quite whether Mourinho’s stance puts any sort of blocker on a potential deal, remains to be seen.
Madrid are well known for making big calls in the market and that includes letting big names go.
Los Blancos are thought to be keen for Vinicius to sign a new contract but they’re also acutely aware that they may need to sell if he doesn’t commit. Right now, it seems that things are edging towards the Brazilian leaving.
As for Arsenal, this sort of signing would set the tone for the summer. In reality, it would be one of the biggest and best signings the Gunners have ever made.
