When does the Euro Under-21s Championship start?
The UEFA under-21s European Championships start on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, with 16 teams looking to win the competition.
It starts with the group stages, where the tournament is split into four groups that will determine who gains passage to the knockout rounds, with the top two of each group qualifying.
England under-21 Euros fixtures
England have been placed in Group B for the under-21s Euros, where they will battle against the Czech Republic, Germany and Slovenia.

When are the under-21 Euros knockouts?
The first knockout fixtures for the European Championships will take place on Saturday, June 21, with the first two quarter-final matches taking place.
The following quarter-finals will be on the following day, Sunday, June 22.
As for the semi-finals, they take place on Wednesday, June 25, at the same time.
When is the under-21 Euros final?
The final of the under-21 European Championships takes place on Saturday, June 28, with Nwaneri and his England teammates hopeful of reaching it and winning the whole tournament.
