Luis Enrique and Mikel Arteta will go head to head this weekend as the two Spaniards battle it out to take home the Champions League trophy.
Enrique is the man with the advantage being the current holder of the trophy and also having the team who many believe will have too much for Arsenal.
Arteta, meanwhile, will be relishing the idea of his side being underdogs and he’ll be laser focused on getting the victory and delivering that first European Cup.
However, when it comes to respect between Enrique and Arteta, there is no doubting it is it high.
This is our Arsenal XI for the Champions League final vs PSG. What changes would you make?
Luis Enrique says what advice he’d give to Mikel Arteta
Both being from Spain, there is going to be a mutual respect there without ever too much overthinking.
However, given their experience as managers, Enrique will feel like he’s the veteran of the occasion.
And with that, he’s shared the advice he’d give Arteta.
“He’s a top coach, and because he’s still so young, I’d tell him: ‘Take it easy, don’t rush. Let me win this final. I’m more like the old grandfather now, and you’ll have plenty of years ahead of you to win it yourself'”, Enrique said.
“So, jokes aside, I like it. It’s nice to see a friend doing well, even though we only spent one year together.
“He’s someone I appreciate, and someone who appreciates me.
“If I don’t win it, then I hope it’s won by someone with good values. That’s football, and that’s life.”
Arteta will be desperate to get the win against his fellow Spaniard. Both players also have heritage at Barcelona.

Furthermore, we could witness a tactical battle for the ages. Enrique’s all-action and pressing PSG team know they have their toughest test yet in facing Arsenal’s brilliant defence.
On the flipside of that, the Gunners also know they’ve not faced an attack like this all year.
